Arzhur was never the same as many of the other ice flight dragons he grew up around. Instead of being hostile and wary, he was constantly asking questions about the "outsiders" - those who lived outside of the Southern Icefields. When he left his homeland, his passion for learning grew even more, and he now spends his time questioning any dragon that stands still long enough for him to talk to. That was part of the reason he started welcoming new dragons into the WolfHouse. After all, what better way to meet others than to let them live with you?

His love of asking questions is rivaled only by his love of old secrets and forgotten lore. The libraries he has assembled are things of wonder, and contain more information than most dragons ever know in their entire lives. Many he wrote himself, while others are gathered from visitors or other residents. Either way, Arzhur has memorized the majority, and can most likely tell you anything you need to know about everything...once he stops asking questions, that is.

As a young dragon, Arzhur lived in the Cloudscrape Crags of the Southern Icefield with his parents and three siblings. When his eldest brother left the group to travel, Arzhur begged to go with him, but was refused. His parents barely let his brother go as it was, not trusting any outsiders in the least. Dejected, he tried to learn more about the other flights from his home, but was quickly shut down by his father, who had no time for a dragonet whose head was filled with "nonsense". But Arzhur saw his chance six months later, when a hostile clan moved into the area and his family was more concerned appeasing them. In the confusion, he slipped away by himself and left the Southern Icefield completely.

For the following few years, Arzhur traveled around Sornieth, learning about the other flights, like he'd always wanted to. He also searched for his older brother, to no avail. A few times Arzhur thought he was close to finding him, but it always led to a dead end. In the meantime, he studied, listened, and queried wherever possible, about all sorts of subjects. He befriended many strange dragons from all over, and made more than a few enemies while he was at it. Despite the ups and downs, he preferred his new life to his old one, although Arzhur often wondered exactly what happened to his family after he left. In time, he heard whispers of a strange place in the Starfall Isles, one filled with unexplored mysteries and untold information.

During his quest to seek out what would eventually become the WolfHouse, Arzhur crossed through the Shifting Expanse. There he met a curious dragon who loved nothing more than a good story, something Arzhur had plenty of.
