In the early days of Elar’s time, many respected him for his high intelligence on most elements of magic and was the most fearsome clan leader’s most trusted mage - until Elar had gone insane when he had learnt plague and shadow magic.

Before he had lost himself forever, he went to the clan leader and showed what he can now do.
Terrified was the leader when Elar somewhat touched them with plague magic; infecting the clan leader’s arm with such a dangerous disease that even the most effective medicine or greatest healers cannot heal.

Many days passed since the accident, Elar kept thinking about it every second that he shouldn't've played with such dangerous magic on the very dragon whose trust is in him; slowly taking away his sanity and progress that he made with so much effort, time and sweat.

Now Elar had succumbed to the darkness, where his mind no longer knew right and wrong.
He mainly uses shadow magic to cover anything and everything about him, and plague to destroy anything he believes is harmful.

As Elar walked to the plague realm, clueless, he stumbled upon a Pearlcatcher.
He did not feel any harm or aggression coming from them, and decided to walk away until the Pearlcatcher decided to talk.
“You’re not from this realm. How and why are you here?” the Pearlcatcher asked, confused on how one from the thunder realm had wandered into theirs.
With no reply, the Pearlcatcher had noticed that there’s something wrong, and that they can make Elar a clan member to use for magic and such.
Elar didn’t mind, since he didn’t anyway since his mind is now empty and his body is but a lost living shell.
