Moby
Position: Captain of the Swallow

A gentle breeze tickled Moby’s nose, while the sound of cool, clear waves brushing up against the sides of the Sparrow calmed him. Though many years had passed, he could vividly recall fleeing from The Scarred Wasteland when he was a hatchling. The scorched ground and the smell of death scared him, even though the rest of the Plague dragons living there seemed to have no trouble with it. He grew frightened, and one night, as the blood red sun sank down in the sky, he ran.

He remembered how he ran until he could hear the ocean. Having never seen or heard of it before, he crawled to a beach and fell asleep listening to the waves. The next day, he stowed away on a ship and it traveled for days until he was discovered and left on the rocky shores of the Arcane region. From there, he staggered, half starved, until he reached a tiny town, where he was taken in and raised to adulthood.

It was because of this he loved the ocean so dearly; it had been his salvation. Once he reached adulthood Moby set out to find a crew and a boat. He assembled a willing, sturdy bunch of dragons and together they fixed up the Swallow. Now he was a ship captain and a father. Because of all that he owed to the people of his town, he continued to supply them using his ship. As he stood and watched the silvery moon take over the sky, Moby marveled at the quiet beauty of the sea, wondering what tales he would have to tell in the years to come.
