And now, may I present to you: Princess Zira, heir to the throne of Goldenstorm. When it comes to external political affairs, Zira usually is the representative of the clan when the monarchy isn't able to make an appearance. An intelligent and soft-spoken dragon, Zira usually gets the job done with little to no hassle. To make matters better, she loves her job too. Being able to travel the world, whilst being treated like the royalty that she is, what else is there not to love?

However, despite her intelligence, Zira usually underperforms or fails her other subjects. According to Valygar, who is her best friend, she simply cannot be bothered to actually work on other subjects, as she feels that they aren't worth her time. She studies what she deems to be important, because, who cares about physics and programming when you're being a clan's ambassador? What are you going to do? Calculate the velocity of a skydancer flying against the crescendo when she's visiting the rolling plateaus in the Zephyr Steppes? Preposterous! She could just get someone else to do that for her!

Amun thinks she's a horrible choice for the clan's heir. Zira thinks so too. Anything to protect the good system that she's got going for her. Leading the clan? Over months of delicious free food and handsome princes to flirt with? In her eyes, that isn't even a contest.

Amun: You do know that you have the responsibility of taking over the clan once your parents retire, right?
