Biography

Sullene *

PREVIOUSLY 04/08/20: Sullene was a young Imperial searching for friends and, maybe one day, a mate. He acts like his mother, Pastel, who was born in The Ashfall Waste. He's kind and hyper and loves to collect all sorts of trinkets to bring on his journeys, but he always tries to make some sort of friend before heading off again.

After a long discussion with his parents, they finally let him go out on his own. His father, an Imperial born to a Night Warrior, wasn't such a fan of this because of his overprotective nature, but he eventually got convinced by Sullene after his constant talkative nature.

NOW 12/19/23: Sullene has grown a lot since his first time seeing the world. He's an adult now, and he has his priorities set. He wants to get out of his old home and find himself in a new one where he can talk about his travels and settle down with a mate.

Uh-oh, looks like this not-so-young Imperial wandered a little too far from his home lair (275126, LeeXeno), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

He would like to find a permanent home one day, but he would always like to visit or stay in contact with his home lair! You can breed him, but make sure to name the hatchlings!! Feel free to change his genes as you please or even add art or scries or outfits & genetics to his bio!

Travel Log:
Quote:
04/08/20 (LeeXeno)

I was born into a growing clan with lots of hatchlings around my age. I never got to know any of them besides my two siblings I was in a clutch with. Alcyon was always quiet like how father was, but I couldn't understand why when there are so many other dragons here in the Starwood Strand. Lavv was always showing off his pretty wings, but I got my father's! My father and mother aren't from here, but I felt the need to travel too! I hope my brothers don't miss me too much, but I hope to return to them with many gifts that I find along the way!

On the way out, I grabbed the Stuffed Fox my mother made me!

4/11/2020 (grxndsxn)

The new clan I found myself in is in a much different location, but it's really cool! I was very quickly welcomed in by a friendly Tundra and Guardian, and when I explained that I was only here to visit, they led me to a nice lodge for travellers, where I met several other dragons like me, who were also travelling Sornieth.

The travellers welcomed me, and I was excited to stay here. From time to time, I interacted with members of the actual clan as well, and I became close friends with several of them. One of them was a Wildclaw named Tobias, and as a gift he decided to give me a hat identical to his own. Soon enough, I also became friends with another Wildclaw who happened to be travelling as well, whose name was Galio.

Even though staying in this clan has been very pleasant, I know that I have to get to my next destination soon! I wondered if Galio wanted to come with me to my next stop, and decided to ask him. He said yes!

4/13/2020 (sgerj)

Whilst flying over the Tangled Wood, Galio and I found a murky-looking Imperial who'd seemingly emerged out of our own shadows. She asked us to help her find an odd glimmering in the sky. We were promised food and treasure, and we were getting low on resources, so we decided to get searching. I had no luck. Having thought that the Imperial was playing a trick on us, Galio gave up and flew towards the glimmering sun. He then suddenly disappeared! The Shadow dragon followed him and disappeared too. Frightened and surprised, I naturally gave chase, only to find myself hurling through a long, mesmerizing magic gate..

The three of us then found ourselves in a completely different land! In the distance I could see spectacular mountains, colorful forests, deep ravines and other shifting scenery. Plenty of other dragons were there too, chatting about in a sunlit plaza, bringing in their earnings for the day, and all the rest. We'd stumbled upon a whole new world hidden in the sunlight, with a clan to visit too!

The Imperial lady, who we then learned was named Myrrhis, excitedly showed us around. This was her home, but she didn't seem to be used to entering and exiting it. Back at her den, we played music with her Nocturne friend Wysiwyg. We're not the best musicians, but Galio and I still had lots of fun. With later approval from the clan leader, we got to stay longer, but we were warned not to stay for too long, or else we'd start forgetting what the outside world was like.

Galio stayed around to explore the place further. Before I left, Myrrhis really wanted to keep my top hat, likely as a keepsake of sorts. She then gave me a mask that would help me to 'better meld with the shadows'. It reminds me of my father. Hoping that I would return later, I said my goodbyes to the friends I'd made in this foreign land. Deep down, I think Myrrhis wanted to be more than mere friends.

11/14/2020 (Silverbolt1159)

I woke up in a soft nest of furs and blankets in a dark cave, and I couldn't remember how I got there. I must've made a lot of noise disentangling myself because a Gaoler quickly popped into the cave. He told me to stay where I was and left for a few minutes before coming back with a softly glowing lantern and a platter of food. When I asked him what was going on he happily explained; his name was Ki'szei and we were in the home cavern of a clan called Ti'lo unan Yael'lo deep in Dragonhome. Apparently, some hunters from the clan had found me wandering aimlessly across the plains and I wouldn't respond to them. They managed to bring me to their lair where their healer and mages realized I was under a spell and sick with exhaustion. I couldn't remember anything after leaving the Tangled Wood, and all of my possessions, including the mask Myrrhis gave me, were gone when this clan found me.

The clan let me stay while I recovered from whatever happened to me. While here I grew close with a dragoness named Pogonia. She told me she was descended from a line of travelers and she was restless to begin her own journey to find a new home. But apparently her family had a tradition where they raised a nest in the clan before leaving, so she had to stay until she'd found a dragon to sire a clutch with her. I don't know what possessed me, but I offered to have a nest with her. The experience was indescribable; I wouldn't have thought I'd have many paternal instincts but I adore raising little nestlings! I stayed with the clan and Pogonia while our hatchlings grew up. Now that they are adults, all of us are ready to set out on our separate paths.

Before I set out, the clan gave me a gift - a new stuffed toy and mask! While they aren't exactly the same as the ones I lost, they'll still remind me of my travels and all of the wonderful friends I've made.

12/19/23 (LeeXeno)

Home. I have been here for awhile, not even remembering how or when I returned to the beauty of the Starwood Strand. My father and mother were still here, yet they were aging and planning on migrating to a new home or even traveling like I do! I knew my plan and wanted to set back out. Many of the friends who were previously here had left, leaving me feeling lonely. Most of my siblings were here as well, but they didn't seem to care about the stories I would tell.

It was time to start a new adventure—maybe finding a permanent place of residence along the way? I didn't know where to start as the years had changed me. It was time to grow as a dragon and find where I belonged.
