Biography
Come here young one. I don't bite. My garb is strange you say? I fear I am poor and these rags and ribbons are all I have.
Look into my eyes little one, you have nothing to fear. I am a mere fortune teller and my price is very cheap you see. I only ask for one thing. One small thing. Your soul.
I have stumbled across somthing exciting! The body of a young dragon! It is mostly intact but has suffered several injuries. Perfect for the new spell I have been working on.
I remove it from the shallow grave I found it in and quickly bring it to my swamp. It seems to be a young female.
I gather all I need for the spell. Chalk to draw the spell circle, candles, incense, special herbs to place around the body, ect. It's all coming together nicely.
As I cast my spell I notice something strange. The body is changing. What was once a nocturne is now a Veilspun. Other then that it was a success!
She is a bit confused which is understandable. She seemed to have substantial injuries to her head when I found her. All is healed up nicely now with her new body.
Her memory loss is also to be expected with the afore mentioned injuries. I need to keep her close to examine how well the body keeps up. Also need to find a way of preforming the spell without changing the body.
I tell her that this swamp is her home and she is protected her. She believes me though she tried to leave several times. A well placed spell her or there persuades her other wise. She has finally relented to stay.
Aha! A break through! I have finally figured out what I did wrong the last time. Just in time to for there is a pearlcatcher body just out side my swamp. Lucky for me Saudade is out running around today and does not witness me dragging them into my lair.
Once again I gather my materials with corrections made on what types of herbs I use and a slight change of phrasing for the spell. It's a bit rough but works! The body is completely healed and the dragon has retained his shape and memory!
He seems angry. I do not know what about but he thrashes about like a loon. Almost destroying precious research with that tail of his. I release him and he disappears quickly. Never to be seen again.
I would have stopped him but I hear Saudade approaching and felt deep in my bones that the two could not meet. A shame for I would love to have studied him more. Oh well, I'm sure there will be other opportunities.
