When Clan Spring Song left their garden in the Gladeveins to settle into the Tangled Woods, they accidentally discovered an underground fairy colony hidden behind blackberry bushes. Their surprise was even bigger when they found out that said colony also had two adult Coatls who'd been raised by the creatures since hatching from stolen eggs. Orchid and Amaryllis were curious to see other dragons and are now living in Spring Song and acting as ambassadors, under the personal protection of Dew and Rosethorn.

Amaryllis is as calm as Orchid is exciteable, but equally curious in her own way. She prefers to examine the world around her in detail, taking in every tiny fragment of it. She's been learning standard draconic a lot faster than anyone would have expected her to, and so can already construct simple sentences. She seems to always have a kind word or deed for everybody, for all that she listens much more than she talks, and she's won the heart of her three lovers and is now quite happy to spend as much time as possible with them.
