Uh-oh, looks like this colourful little nocturne wandered a little too far from his home lair (#303558, Dracana), and now he's off to see the world! While staying with a clan in the Lightweaver's territory, I got a little more comfortable being away from home. It took some adjusting to, but now I feel much better about exploring the wide world! In this clan, The Solaire Archives, they asked me some questions that I'm thinking over now... What do I strive to do in life? What professions do I dream of having? Of course, I'd been asked those questions before, but since I was young and didn't know any better, I'd always responded that I wanted to explore Sornieth. But now that I've started my adventure, I can't help pondering these questions further. An explorer is only one small facet of myself. What else should I become?

I was tired of flying by now, and was ready to find a place to stop for the night. I stopped by a clan on the verge of the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood. I've never been to such a place before, but it seemed like I was in a pleasant place to stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for long, but I was given a few items to take with me on my travels: a handkerchief and a satchel.

I've spent an awfully long time in Clan Mavenlark, and finally decided to head back to the road. I can't really say what motivated me to stay for so long, no more than I can say what convinced me to leave. The hatchlings I've had are all grown, and the few mates I've entertained, distant. Perhaps moving on is as natural as this passage of time, too.

It seems like everything I held onto at my home was gone, so it was about time I traveled again. The only issue is that while I was going along the plague's border I came across a group of sketchy dragons. Who started questioning basically everything about me. It was a good thing I made a run for it or else who knows what could've happened!

I only stopped here for a short while. I shared stories of my travels and in exchange, they shared their food stores with me. I'll take the left overs with me as provisions as I continue my journey.

Like with Lightning Flight, I made a complete turn around and journeyed back to Plague for no other reason but that I was compelled. There was a clan on the edge of the territory that, although war-like, were considerably friendly in comparison to others I had heard tales of. Apparently I am the first Traveller they have hosted. Although I only saw a few members, I given the impression that it was a massive clan. From what I saw it was comprised chiefly of larger dragons with an abundance of guardians and imperials. When it was time for me continue on my travels a mercenary invited me to join her, her mate and her daughter Contralto on caravan she was accompanying across Sornieth. Contralto and her good friend Cypressburn, another traveller, were preparing to go on their own journeys and the three of us fell deep into conversation. Before too long, it was time for me to split, but not before becoming friends with them. I wonder if I will ever see them again.

After leaving, I found myself wandering into a small.... Bakery of sorts? It was nestled near the top of jagged peaks, and I found myself drawn to it. In it, I met several owners of the bakery and the dragons they shared the bakery with. It was amazing to see the scents and smells of the place, and I stayed there for a little, conversing and learning about the art of fresh pastry and sweet making. I was also gifted with a kind little frog! I hope no one separates us.

I wandered into a spooky place! It seems to be a group of sort .. the dragons intimidate me--they called themselves a coven? but they seem friendly! I actually found a dragon I really like, I hope we get to become closer ... she liked my little frog! The last place I was in was kind enough to send me off with him. I hope we continue to stay together ... and I kind of hope I get out of this spooky place soon! But don't tell them I said that. It's my first time in Shadow territory!

The next part of my travels has taken me to a place more... wet than I am used to, and that's putting it lightly! I can't seem to stay dry, but my little frog likes it enough! The dragons here don't really seem to mind all the sand and saltwater, even the ones that aren't water dragons. I've even spotted a couple lightning and fire dragons here, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't imagining things... In no time at all, they accepted me with open arms, knowing I'm just passing by but still wanting to form bonds with me. They're a friendly and closeknit bunch! Even the crankier ones have tender hearts, I've noticed! The hatchlings and younger adults gather around me sometimes, wanting to hear tales of my travels and the sights I've seen. Maybe it isn't so bad here in Water territory... at least I've got pleasant company!
