Nakai's Notes

Aurum; poor thing. He’s a “Gold-Touched” dragon, thought by many to be cursed due to the odd patches of glinting gold on his wings and scales/fur. Most dragons who are aware of the old legend believe this to be a curse that only happens to greedy dragons.

There have also been horrific rumors, of how some dragons, in their great obsession to hoard more treasure, try to take these “Gold Touched” and actually pry the gold from their body. This is almost impossible and obviously painful for the victim.

Aurum fears for his life, and resides in the clan for safety. He tries to cover up the gold as well as he can. Due to his status as being Gold-Touched, he has a special ability to detect gold/precious metals underground. Kreedline has hired him as an assistant and traveling companion.

Aurum respects Kreedline and thinks of him as a great authority figure in his life. He is especially grateful to the Imperial for teaching him how to defend himself, as parts of his body and wings are actually made of gold, and he’s always been a bit paranoid about someone hurting him for some reason related to that.

Edit: Kreedline and Aurum are currently away helping out with the Dustcarve Dig. We do not know when they will be back, but in the meantime we are doing our own part to collect any spare blastpowder, fuel, rope, and wood, sending them to Dragonhome as per Earthshaker’s request.

Edit 2: They’re back! And they brought a new friend with them; Jubilee, first Obelisk of the clan.
