Unusually stable and self-aware, Naltas’ true nature has often been mistaken. He prefers to attach to magically-inclined individuals and, as such, are often thought of as a familiar. Naltas certainly feeds some of his own magic back into his host while still taking the energy. When he’s properly bonded and established the cycle of magic, it increases both his ability and his host’s considerably. Though unable to talk, Naltas finds ways to communicate with his host.
