"It takes a ghost to kill a ghost," Fury interrupts smoothly, watching the familiar confusion flash across their faces. He doesn't speak as fae do, quick and monotone and near-indecipherable to those unused to their flashing fins and wings, but he doesn't quite speak as other dragons do either. There is emotion in his voice, but it still is muted, quiet. The lyrical lilt unnerves some dragons, agents and clients alike, and he makes no attempt to soothe them. Their fears are their own to deal with. "Other undead can be handled easily enough with fire, but destroying one who is truly gone requires like."

"You... don't look dead..." the young spiral murmurs nervously, and her body language is all too easy to read: she wants to be as far away from him as she can, now. But the mirror watches him carefully, a considering glint in both pairs of eyes.

Fury nods. He's used to that statement. "This body isn't," he admits, flexing his claws. "If you catch a vacant body soon enough after the owner's death, you can keep the rot from setting in, trick the flesh into believing it is still alive. Snow died not long after hatching, and I found him... oh, about half an hour later, I want to say? It's been quite some time, so I cannot quite be sure. But it was sufficient to keep the body from beginning to decay, and it has worked well enough for me ever since."

One eye twitches. That is the only reaction from the mirror, while the spiral coils uneasily. Staring into those electric-blue eyes, he realizes he is not the first wandering soul the mirror has seen.

So that's what his target is, eh? Of course he knows he isn't the only one on Sornieth, but, to his knowledge, there is only one other in Plague or the surrounding territories, and they have clashed before.

Wouldn't it be interesting if this contract is for her?
