«He came to Ganotei long ago, centuries before we conquer the space. He saw us growing day by day, year by year, but our evolution seemed too slow for him. His lifetime sure was long enough to see “that curious new race” becoming new space explorers, but he was impatient.
He decided to use one of Ganotei's moons to change planetary orbit.
He changed gravity fields around it and the moon collided with the planet. Orbit has changed too much, and the planetary speed became low. The ground was shattered, through its open wounds started to raise an acid and melted rock and iron. It was the greatest catastrophe the world ever seen.
He recognised his mistake. He manipulated with our DNA, making us more similar to him, to his race, so we could become the survivors. He gave us the main knowledge about space and time, He was around to help us make this corrupted planet our home again.
When it was done, he vanished into the asteroid belt, created from the missing Ganotei's moon.
He doesn't interfere in our lives, just watching.
That's why we call him The Watcher.
That's why we never go into asteroid belt.
No one want another catastrophic divine intervention.»
