Biography

"I'll make this world a happy place for you, traveller."
theme//phobos

you find yourself lost among the orange and red leaves, twirling around you in an intricate waltz. you don't remember how you got here (but why should you? it's all in the past now.). there's no way out for as far as you can see, but your mind doesn't seem to register this fact as the colourful blurs seem to draw you further in the tangles of the forest.

then again, why would you want to leave? it is so peaceful here.
it's almost as if a cloudy haze settled over your judgement.

as if he was morphed out of the very entangles itself, a coatl, smiling gently, approaches you. he doesn't say anything- he doesn't have to. you understand his purpose, and so does he.

slowly, like he has all the time in the world (and he d,pes doesn't he? anything is possible here. you are never going to leave), the coatl offers a talon to you. a silent invitation.

without so much of a moment's hesitation, you accept, grasping his claws in your own. the music that you now registered crescendo into a violent frenzy, leaves whipping up around you and jostling your wings. a brief flash of clarity settles over you, causing you to jerk back violently. but the coatl's grip is too strong, pulling you further in the forest. he smiles almost pityingly at you as brambles ensnare your limbs; the scent is intoxicating, you need to escape, to get out of this place, to-

"what are you doing?" the coatl asks sweetly, his voice mellow and airy as if he was one with the forest. "you'll be happy here. just like our friends. here for all of eternity."

why are you struggling again? how rude of you; this dragon is offering security for nothing in exchange.

tension ebbs out of your limbs as you relax, allowing yourself to fall back into the woody embrace the coatl had so kindly offered to you.

everything is so blurry now, your mind faintly registers. your senses flicker for a moment, before everything goes dark and your body falls numb.

you don't like this place. where os the light you now crave? you want it to return so badly- no, you need it, now.

a glimpse of bright orange-yellow catches your panicking gaze. you break into a instinctual run for it, reaching out for the brightness as if it is your lifeline.

as you near it, you could see the coatl, still donning the same warm smile from before. he gently extends his wing to you. "come, little one," the dragon says, his voice ethereal and echoing around you. "there is still so much joy waiting ahead."

you try reaching for him, longing so desperately for the same sense of peace before. so many emotions are crowding your head. it was tiring. you are tired. you want it to all go away.

the closer you get to him, the more dizzy you feel. your vision is being mottled with black spots a little more often than you would exactly prefer (prefer? what was that?), and there is an obvious stumble in your gait.

you are so sleepy.

in one last frantic attempt, you try to throw yourself in the direction of the coatl. yet you fall short-- only a few feet away from his talons. you struggle to heave yourself further towards him, but a wave of nausea crashing over you stops your movements. you are swimming in and out of consciousness now-- you want it all to stop, to go away, to leave-

"it's all right," the coatl murmurs softly, his expression matching his tone of voice. everything is fading away now; all the sickness you had felt earlier is now being replaced by warm emptiness.
he says something else. you don't know what, but you strain to hear his last few words.

"you're safe now."
