Bred with Aurora Often mistaken for either a Plague or Nature dragon due to his vibrant coloration and almost sweet aroma, Baken is, in fact, naturally born in the Arcane flight. Oddly enough he's never had a knack for "magic" per se- the things Arcane dragons are known for. He's been fascinated with plants and unguents ever since he could comprehend what they were, and he soon began producing his own ointments and oils using natural resources. Due to his constant contact with fragrant plants, oils and other materials, his scales have become permanently infused with these various scents, in particular his front paws.

Due to his "sweet" scent and oddly colored hide, his patients are often reminded of sickly plague dragons or tropical nature dragons (especially with his plant obsession). However, they're pleasantly surprised to find that their Healer is, in fact, not here to poison them or urge them to become a vegan in order to stay healthier. In fact, Baken is also just as sweet as he smells, with a brilliant personality to match his scales and preferred healer garments. He adores hatchlings and spending time with individuals that know how to joke and keep a conversation going, due to his own inability to hold long conversations (he begins to stutter over his words and begins to consider himself bothersome). Overall he's a very beloved member of the clan, and once others stop judging him immediately by coloration alone, they soon come to quite enjoy his company! If he likes you well enough, he'll most certainly gift you personalized herb bundles, oils, or specialized creams of his own making.
