Pollux

Pollux is an astronomer who spends most of his days sleeping or researching a variety scrolls about stars, while his nights are spent being awake all night examining space through his telescope from his lair. Because of his line of work and study, his sleep schedule is the complete opposite of normal dragons, but this is his preferred type of lifestyle and he is always in his element during the night. He rarely goes out, sometimes having no choice but to leave because he needs to eat, has run out of food and sadly cannot live off of moonlight.

He decorates his lair with stained glass windows, which fill a large portion of his walls, gorgeous tapestries, which he sometimes, very rarely makes when he isn't busy studying, tons of soft pillows, silk blankets and curtains, an enormous assortment of models and mobiles of the star systems, planets and nebulae and a small collection of crystals on beautifully carved shelves. He likes to wear silks because of their softness and beauty, and loves to deck himself out in jewelry, gold being his favorite kind. His roof is a giant glass dome so that he has the ability to use his telescope with the freedom of movement and view.

Pollux's lair, which is more of an observatory perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, is a very vibrant and colourful home. Although the floor is wooded, with rugs all over the floor and blankets strewn about in no order whatsoever, you could pretty much flop down anywhere and you'd be guaranteed a soft, comfortable place to rest. Piles of scrolls and books are stacked in tall, teetering towers everywhere, the piles sometimes being so high they can be mistaken for walls. The stained glass windows bathe the lair in almost an ethereal light, colours painting everything. It all has an air of magic and euphoria.

His telescope is his most prized possession, being the most expensive thing he owns, it is an heirloom which was passed down to him by his earliest ancestors, who handmade the fine piece of equipment. Each generation of his family has made add-ons, changes and improvements to the item, and has improved the telescope to a masterful quality. With additional enchantments to both preserve and protect the precious item, it holds the dearest of sentiments in his heart. In fact, Pollux likes to believe that if he were a Guardian instead of a Skydancer, the telescope would be his charge.

He lives with his mate, Ouroboros, and their two familiars, Pollux's Which Waychunk, Ketli, and Ouroboros' Vulpine Lamp, Vux. Both love it when Pollux talks to them about space and the stars, and will often cuddle up against him when he's sleeping or when he's researching. Other than this, his lifestyle is very introverted. He doesn't have any friends but is fine with it, dedicating his time to his mate, familiars and studies. Considering his mate also has a nocturnal schedule as well as an introverted life, their lifestyles are very well suited to eachother, but it was only by chance that they met eachother.
