Zamarca became an alchemist in order to change his appearance, he dislikes being a mirror for many reasons, most of them related to prejudice he experienced as a child. He's fierce and loyal to his friends in the Guild, but he doesn't care much about other dragons that are not alchemists themselves, despite studing alchemy for his initial goal, he does love the art with all his being and provides a lot of beauty products to the clan.

His dream is to turn into a beautiful Coatl one day, he loves the feathery beauty of his serpentine cousins and the vibrant colors of their plumage, he is trying to devise a way to change without losing his hearing, or at least keeping part of it, so is still a work in progress, patience is one of his virtues so he's not worried about it as long as he can achieve his goal one day.
