Calcify's parents were brutally murdered while she was an egg, by Nox and his son Obsidian. Nox's mate and Obsidian's Mother, Persephone, came along, accompanied by Mara, Obsidian's mate. Persephone and Mara discovered the egg and told both Nox and Obsidian that they should take the egg and raise the hatchling as an assassin rather than destroying it. Calcify was raised by the four dragons to be the best assassin she could be, with Nox and Persephone as her mother and father an Obsidian and Mara as her aunt and uncle. She eventually left their home in Hell and journeyed out into the Forbidden Forest where she was rescued by Slash and Coil. Slash and Coil became her other aunt and uncle. She eventually developed feelings for their foster daughter, Caica, and the two are now in a happy relationship. She also discovered Bean not long after leaving Hell, a Sparkling Stinger who became her trusty familiar. Eventually she ran into Mara in the forest with Caica one day and her first reaction was to freeze in fear. Ivanora was there too as Mara was staying with her. Ivanora and Mara explained that Mara would do no harm and hated it down in Hell, but as she was never let out of Obsidian's sight, she could never voice her opinion. Persephone eventually helped her escape, but the Guardian is still stuck down there as Nox's mate, even though she hates it and his job, though she does still love him. Mara also mentioned that Valrys, her daughter, stayed dwon there are no doubt saw her mother as a traitor. Calcify forgave Mara for any harm she caused. Eventually Valrys joined her mother after seeing how awful her father truly was. Then Mara, Valrys, Caica and Calcify all moved to the Land of the Infected together. Calcify still keeps up her training but only for defense and the assassination of Nox and Obsidian yet to come, except she will try to convert them first because otherwise Persephone may not ever forgive her for the death of her family whom she still loves.
