Wyndhark Riverdeep
-heavily resembles a sea slug, "horns" are made of soft flesh like a seaslug
-has slimy cuttlefish-like chromataphore skin that can change visual texture to a limited degree, change color, and glow at will, communicates with glowing colorshifting and whale noises
-comes from a city in the leviathan trench where everyone "speaks" a mostly visual language because it's underwater
-the city is so deep that dragons who travel in or out of the trench need to undergo a long process of therapy to acclimate to the massive pressure difference first to be able to move between the deep and shallows safely, and many (surface dwellers in particular) are not physically fit to ever make the trip at all
-wears abyss striker plates as armor
-some cities in the trench have special air-rooms for metalworking, but overall metals are an extremely rare and valuable material in the depths and is rarely found outside the shells of certain near-indestructible deepsea snails
-wood is equally rare
-the cities in the deeprealm of the leviathan trench are populated exclusively by highly mutated to adapt to the environment snappers, bogsneaks, guardians, spirals, and some imperials, mirrors, and ridgebacks, along with some so heavily mutated they no longer closely resemble the landbound counterparts of their breed at all. mostly large, stocky breeds and long serpentine ones, with no fur or feathers.
-never seen the shallows or the surface, is so massive and heavily adapted for deep-water high pressure life that she would probably die if she entered the shallows
-has a "real" name, it's traditional to have a common draconic written name as well just in case you have to communicate with surface dwellers
-the leviathan trench is more or less the entire universe to the creatures that live in it, dragons and maren included
-there are scary stories about massive monsters lurking in the darkness which give the trench it's name (they're probably ancient breeds)
-probably doesn't know what a river is unless you count the rivers and lakes of salt-saturated toxic water on the seabed
