Nedus

Nedus didn't originally want to be a part of Deer's Death - but she knew about the clan, and the prejudice against Nature and Light dragons, and decided to challenge it.

Knowing what could happen to her if she revealed herself as a Nature dragon to Mirfak, she covered her eyes with fabric before venturing into Deer's Death territory. The dragons there were curious, and one of them was enamored. Mirfak, however, was suspicious. After asking Nedus what element she was, Nedus told him that she was a Shadow dragon. Mirfak believed her, and allowed her to stay in the clan. Nedus accepted the offer.

One day, the only members of the clan that had not been busy were Penumbra, Akisaja, Mael, and Sedative. Nedus offered to show them a secret, but only if they promised to keep it from the rest of the clan. After they agreed, Nedus took off the fabric from her eyes, revealing that she was a Nature dragon. They became shocked, and Mael even warned her about what could happen to Nature and Light dragons spotted within the clan's territory. Despite this, all four of these dragons swore to never tell.

A few days later, Mirfak finally saw Nedus without her fabric covering, seeing that she really was a Nature dragon, and he revealed it to the rest of the clan. Much of the clan was angry, threatening to kill her for treason - but Mirfak decided to spare her, and instead held her prisoner.

"I may seem delicate, but I'm a risk taker, truthfully. Ever since I was a young dragon, I was known to surprise my parents by fighting with my younger brother; he was an Imperial, too! Due to growing up in a Nature clan, I heard stories about a ravaging Plague/Shadow clan in my youth, and wondered that they'd truly do if they found a Nature or Light dragon living in it. I thought that covering my eyes and lying about being a Shadow dragon was sufficient; the risk I took was calculated, but man, am I bad at math. Of course, I never planned to reveal my true identity to Mirfak, just to the few dragons of the clan that I trusted enough. I'd be lying if I said that this wasn't one of the worst decisions I ever made, but at least I made a few friends and met the love of my life."
