Biography
"No, stop!”
His eyes were wide, two pale orbs against the darkness. In front of him, somewhere through the eldritch night, the other two dragons stood, their teeth shimmering with all the malice of a grin that meant death. Malevolence, and he could sense it, was emanating clearly from them, and he knew that they meant him harm. He pushed away from them, fear blossoming in the pits of his stomach.
“D-don’t hurt me!” He exclaimed. “I won’t tell a soul what I saw down there, I swear!”
The dragons turned to look at each other slyly, and he saw one draw a longer, slender knife from a hidden pocket.
“Oh you won’t tell a soul, alright.” And he drew close, his steps barely making a sound. Dominion trembled beneath him, disgusted by his cowardness but unable to stop it from controlling him.
“Kahr,” The dragon snapped, calling the other over with little more than a gesture of his head.
“Get ‘is mouth and hold it open.”
The other dragon, who was much, much larger than the first, though not quite as large as Dominion, rushed to his side, and Dominion, frozen in fear, did not move as he came. He forced his claws under Dominions teeth and pried them apart. The first dragon smirked, leaning close.
“This’ll teach you to mess with the Guild, buddy,” He said, grabbing Dominion’s tongue and slashing the blade across it. Dominion yelped, closing his strong jaws on the dragon's claw, the taste of blood filling his mouth. The dragon screamed, yanking his arm away, blood pouring from the nub where his claw had been.
“You!” He yelled, as Dominion spat the scales from his mouth. The world around him was growing dark, and he had no doubt that if he fell into unconsciousness, the dragons would not hesitate to slit his throat.
Have to escape, He thought, his wings opening automatically. The second dragon yelled something, his voice deep and gravelly, but Dominion could not hear it through the pounding in his head. His strength fading, he took to the air, deadlining towards what he prayed was the entrance to the cave, or at least some sort of exit. He closed his eyes, emerging into open air, heading higher and higher into the sky, the moon his only guide. Behind him, he heard the faint shouts of the mercenary dragons, and the wind rushing through his ears, before he gave way to the darkness, and collapsed, crashing through the canopy of trees to the forest floor.
