Biography

The clan father. Pariah is a mellow, easy-going soul who speaks with an unrushed slowness. As opposed to his mate and fellow founder, he is much more patient and warmer to be around in general. It's incredibly rare that he ever actually feels upset, often shrugging off things with a deep, warm-hearted chuckle. Family members within his presence often adopt his relaxed state of mind without ever realizing it, getting dragons as thick-skulled and violent as Meirion to calm down instantly. Because he is so calm and patient, many hatchlings who wander from the nursery have taken to his side; using his large body as a playground, or simply waiting around for him to tell them the tradional stories of the clan or of the world of Sornieth. Sometimes, the older dragons will listen in.

This Guardian is tasked with keeping record of the clan's history, writing down and scribing any and all events that happen within the clan from deep within the clan's central archives. Pariah spends much time down in the archives, surrounded by books and scrolls and ink. Because he rarely ever leaves, many of the family come to him instead if the other way around. It isn't easy for him to leave either considering his size. When he isn't scribing or sleeping, Pariah enjoys telling all sorts of stories to any dragon that will listen. He is something of a storyteller, able to remember most tales after hearing them only once or even making up tales entirely. It is a favorite pastime of any dragon in the temple to sit down and listen to him speak. When he speaks, it is almost as if his listeners are put into the story themselves and can see the events unfold before them. Because his stories are in such high demand, Seraphim has dictated one night of the week for all the clan to gather around and listen to him speak.
