Once dreamt of creating a clan. His dream then became a reality - and perhaps, then, a nightmare.
Of course, he holds no resentment towards fate, or himself. For perhaps, it never was preventable.

From another Shadow clan he hailed, young and ambitious. He was rather rebellious at that time, turning his nose from authority - in his eyes, at least, he would make a better clan leader.

And perhaps he did, or perhaps he did not. Dragonwing Begonia indeed flourished with his guidance, new faces coming to greet... Yet it was him who lacked combat prowress. The main flaw: the clan lacked warriors.

With the discovery of the Forgotten Portal, a disaster struck as monsters overran Shadow territory. Memories blurry, Hex wouldn't be able to remember every jarring detail - but every disappearance of a clan member would be clear as day to him.

He has not given up hope. Rebuilding the clan day by day, inviting warriors to train fledglings - Hex will not make the same mistakes again, and neither will he live in the past.
