Not nearly as favored or talented as his elder brother, Fester is a pit of raging jealousy and resentment. He is notoriously in a foul mood, blaming the world, and his family, for his problems. Yet he still remains with them, the draw of a place to belong greater than his desire to leave. If another place arises that would accept him and his inclination to consume the flesh of dragons, he would live there in a heartbeat. Until then, he does what he can to avoid those he lives with.

With great enthusiasm and vigor, Fester fights in the battles the clan engages in. He does it for the fighting and the feast, not to protect or defend the territory. The fact that their battles and wars keep invasions away from the fortress is inconsequential to Fester, even as the other members of the clan praise Fester for his skills in a fight. He turned his jealousy into motivation to bring down anyone who crosses his path. Still, his family still favors Raptor over him, his brother a dragon who can bring others to their knees in the noblest art of contagion.
