- library attendant
- was once a completely normal dragon, but had an unfortunate run in with a cursed tome
- cursed tome contained an old god that tried to take over his will and body; it lost. miserably
- now his head is made of wings and he speaks in a forgotten tongue
- Cyn is his translator
- signs whenever possible instead, since they find the conversation delay tedious
- hasn’t let the whole incident dampen his love for the library or life in general
- still just as wonderfully friendly as ever
- just don’t let his appearance scare you away

- met him traveling from his home clan to the Institute
- the two are absolutely inseparable
- their new angelic appearance hasn’t affected Achilles’s absolute infatuation with them in the slightest; he only complains that it’s harder to kiss their face now, since it’s not always there
- he’s the only dragon who can reliably understand Patroclus, making him the only other dragon known to understand Godtongue fluently
- can’t speak it since the language isn’t spoken in a way dragons can replicate, but he understands his husband just fine
- took multiple years of everyday exposure and extremely frustrating work to get it down, and even now it’s not perfect; super not viable to teach on a broad scale
