one of the last of her people, the wanderers, descendants of humans that left Earth thousands of years ago. killed by their own, now lost in new worlds.

Indra is a person of independence, a survivor of domestic abuse and controlling parents, determined to control her future. She joined the military to escape her abusive husband. She took a job on a exploration ship, along with her companion dragon named Lotus.
Lotus was rescued by her father from dragon trainers that cut off her wings when she was a hatchling. Her father engineered wings for Lotus that grew as she grew.
Indra and Lotus remained side by side, even in Indra’s training.
Indra isn't entirely skilled but she was given special treatment due to her royal birth. Her parents were both scientists and had created a Soul together.
Indra wasn’t interested in science and wanted nothing to do with it. Her mother forced her to get married to a man she hated.
So she left. And her world destroyed while in cryo sleep.

Once her and her crew awakened hell broke lose. Her crew mates couldn’t fathom that they lost their home and gave up, all at once, in a panicked frenzy. Indra tried to persuade them not to give up but it fell on deaf ears.

Traversing space alone, she tried to find any other survivors, desperately trying to make contact with anyone. Giving up she decided to go into cryo sleep once more as she let her ship drift further into the unknown. Years went by sleeping.
She awoke, uncertain of how long it’d had been. She sensed an itch in the back of her brain. Another thoughts in her mind, their pain became her pain. She dreamt of a man in agony, bones breaking, muscles tearing. Location found.

A new galaxy, new planet. Dragons. Lots of dragons. A place where Lotus didnt need to hide nor she. Indra woke Lotus and there they plunged into their new reality. Alone but not afraid.
