❝ Listen, you're never going to get something on the first try. You know that old saying: Sornieth didn't fall in a day. Well─ I guess that's not a great example in this case. Wait, where are you going?! ❞ Not everyone is destined for greatness— but from the moment he got his hands on a screwdriver, Phizz knew that he was one of the chosen few that would be. His family had come from a long line of nobodies, and in his non-professional opinion, it was shameful. Seen by other longneck as good-for-nothing thieves and ne'er-do-wells, he was determined to prove the world that he was worth something. At the ripe age of 16, he left his village behind and traveled to Allamont. He'd heard stories that anyone could make it there, no matter their background, as long as they had spunk and determination. He had both of those things in excess, so he figured that it would only be a hop skip and a jump until he made it to the big leagues. Donning a new name (Nietzsche, he thought, sounded edgy and cool— plus, no one knew how to spell it upon first hearing it and what was radder than that?), he set off to make himself known to the world... unfortunately, his skills as an inventor were lackluster at best. Ten years later, and still trying to hone his craft, Nietzsche has now earned the nickname Sooty, as his lab has a tendency to go up in flames at a moment's notice. Ridiculed by most of the scientific community around him, he refuses to let that dampen his passion. After all, the greatest of artists were never recognized in their prime.

• longneck artificer • phizz always wanted to fly, which is why he's constructed two pairs of canvas wings with a motor that he can wear as a backpack. unfortunately for him, they have a tendency to malfunction and he's constantly repairing them. • hasn't contacted his family in a few years, acts like it doesn't get to him but he does miss them. • had ten siblings, six of which were older and four of which were younger. • yes he has braces.
