An enigma even among a clan of outcasts, Masque presides over the clan's thankfully small graveyard. She is a stalwart guardian of the dead alongside her trusted Death Seeker, Xie, who crows at the sight of anyone encroaching upon the resting place of the dead.

Masque is altogether antisocial and a dragon of very few words. She speaks to very few dragons, those being her father, Stallion, and Eldritch, who has somehow forced her way into Masque's life and trails her for at least an hour of her daily routine. Masque is unsure if she appreciates the company, but Eldritch's presence does fill her with a strange warmness where disdain for the other dragon once was... as it turns out, Masque finally found it in herself to give Eldritch a bit of time and attention, and what was originally a begrudging friendship has become something more. For the first time since the death of her mother, Masque is smiling and laughing again, all thanks to her silly and bright newfound mate. Their lives were changed forever when Eldritch volunteered the pair to adopt the baby Mirror from an unhatched Wind Egg. So now, the pair has a daughter, Apira, and while Masque is a far more uncertain parent that Eldritch with her overwhelming amount of excitement and zeal, but regardless of her apprehension she has promised to cherish Apira and raise her as her own.
