The Night Guard

The Night Guard consists of four dragons that came to The Gathered at the suggestion of Sunbeam. No one knows much about where they came from, they have become trusted protectors of the clan's main lair.

xxxxxUnlike the rest of the Night Guard, Glimmer isn’t much of a fighter, preferring to think her way out of situations. While most would call the other members of the Night Guard “reserved,” Glimmer is typically understood to be “shy.” She is usually seen near her mate, Nimble, or on her own exploring the various trinkets and treasure’s in the clan’s hoard. Although she doesn’t speak much in the presence of others, Nimble has come to rely on her insights.

xxxxxWhile no one outside of the Night Guard knows it, Glimmer is the main reason for the group coming to the Gathered. In their previous clan, Glimmer was near-royalty, while Nimble was the son of a disgraced guard captain trying to earn back his family’s honor by serving Glimmer’s well-connected family. Instead, romance bloomed, leading to an absolute uproar in their previous clan, and a hurried escape in the night.

xxxxxPlush is Glimmer’s dear friend, and one of the few things she brought with her when leaving behind her family. Glimmer often confides in her, and although Plush can be quite talkative, she has never once given a secret away.
xxxxxPlush and Nimble’s familiar, Aiolos, have a bit of an odd relationship. While they sometimes get into the antics you’d expect from a cat and bird expected to spend much of their time around each other, they have also been spotted playing together to cheer up hatchlings in the creche, or working together to steal food when they don’t think any dragons are looking.
