Biography
No one seems to know where Sangui came from, as she has been vague about her past to even those closest to her. Although she doesn't volunteer much information on herself, based on the scars on her wings and her stern ferocity, she's seen quite a bit.

Sangui is solemn and cold, driven primarily by her ambition to grow a vast and powerful clan. She is intellectual and hardworking. In spite of her cold and serious demeanor, she has a surprising charismatic streak that comes from her leaderly confidence and calm behavior. It is rather difficult to build a personal connection to her, as she keeps most people at a safe distance, but once you do she is surprisingly gentle. She seems to be harsh not out of any hatred from others, but for the sake of defense, and even when she lets her walls down to a special few, tends to be somewhat awkward and slow with her affections.

When she founded the Clan of Howling Storms, the first recruit she could was Mirros. He needed a lair, and she needed someone more physically strong to protect her. Although they had no romantic connection, they agreed to have a clutch of eggs together to populate their new clan. While they tended to their nest, a young orphaned skydancer named Zaj stumbled upon their lair. It seemed only logical to care for the orphaned dragon to expand their clan, so Sangui offered to let Zaj stay. She feigned disinterest, but Zaj's warm kindness won her over, and she eventually came to consider Zaj her own daughter.

Before the nest hatched, several more travellers joined the clan, including a pearlcatcher with a natural proclivity for magic by the name of Saga. Sangui spent her free time teaching Saga the basics of magic. When Saga took an interest in healing, Sangui ran out of things to teach (being a more offensive caster herself) and removed Saga as her apprentice, elevating her to the clan's lead healer.

At last, the five eggs of Sangui's nest hatched. The oldest was a female mirror dragon named Hemora. When Zaj turned down the offer of being Sangui's heir, the duty fell to this little one. Next was a free-spirited fae named Eurus, who eventually left home to travel at a young age. Then were Caelum, a fae boy, and his mirror brother Iupter. Both were sent to live as ambassadors in foreign clans at a young age. The last to hatch was Vasti, another fae who spent most of his time tagging along with Hemora's adventures. Although she loved her hatchlings deeply, Sangui still struggled to show her feelings of affection. She was strict but fair in raising them, and sent her sons away from home letters often. She trained Hemora in manners of leadership, and Vasti in the flight and magic inherent to fae. 		Wing-right.png
