Cysnea

Cysnea is a cook, and a good one.
When she was young, she was unable to follow the flock that should have led her to the Stormcatcher's exaltees - but when she's honnest with herself, she reckons she wasnt trying that hard. This way wasn't for her.
Howerver, that's how she ended being lost alone in a desert land, with no one in sight ... and no food. For days and days, she tried to find her way back, nearly dying from starvation, until a caravan of circus came by and found her lying on the ground, dehydrated and severely lacking food. They took care of her and she spent all of her time in the kitchen with the cooks, afraid she would behungry again with no food nearby.
The cook hadd no use for a traumatized nearly hatchling hanging around their kitchen, so they told Cysnea "you work there or you leave." She replied she didn't know how to cook. "Then learn."
Too afraid at the idea of being thrown out, she tried - she tried and she liked it a lot.
Cysnea sweared she would never be hungry again, and never let anyone be hungry around her. That's why after a few years, she left the circus troupe, looking for a clan where her services could be of some use.
When she arrived at Ogrenat, she was astonished : how a single tundra and a bunch of inn dragons could feed properly all those carefree and daydreaming mages ?! They were probably forgetting to eat half the time !! This wasn't going to be like that !
She totally imposed herself in Abrail's kitchen, taking on her shoulders the burden of making sure everyone was fed enough. At first, the two leader cooks did'nt get along very well, as Abrail wasn't very glad to hear that she was neglecting her clan members, but as she also really, really needed help, the two of them became a very efficient team.

Cysnea is even doing it a bit too much, to be honest. Think of your grandma refilling your plate twice because you're probably starving, even if you can't take anymore of it. Now replace the grandma with a determinate and energetic young Pearlcatcher and you have the idea.

It's also a quite effective protection against hatchlings who would want to infiltrate the kitchen to steel sweets. Adults dragons don't really mind it though.
