She was still encased in ice by that time. For someone who has presumably slept for the past hundreds of years, she is surprisingly lively. Due to her magic being dormant, she tends to use it to seal off the excessive powers of her students, preventing them from over-exerting themselves. Oddly enough, she doesn't mind being near herpartner, despite him acting quite apathetic towards her. And yes, Ice Mom is a totally acceptable nickname. Because even with one dragon holding a grudge, things will go south very quickly.
