Biography
Quote:
Despite his name, breed, and even alignment; SoulReaper is of a gentle type, despite all odds being stacked against him. More often than not a fellow clanmate will find the other out within his garden, tending to the various herbs that contribute greatly to both preventing illness within the clan and assuring the wounded heal; it's a duty SoulReaper takes with great pride and joy, as he finds some solace within his herbs, he's in his element, so to speak.
For the most part, anyways. Although working away in the garden is a pleasure, where there's dirt and plants to be found, there's also bugs. For the most part SoulReaper tries to pay them no mind, ignoring the beetles skittering past him upon the ground, the worms underneath the soil - he tries to avoid them, to ignore them, but the second one touches him? It's game over. He's done gardening for the day, retreating inside in a matter of seconds to recover from the trauma of touching such a foul, uncanny little insect - he shudders at the thought.
Because of this, Blight often hands out with him while SoulReaper gardens. As a mirror he simply can't wrap his head around the idea of eating bugs - but Blight sure can, as the second he points out any creepy crawlies she's quick to liven up, pouncing atop it, gripping the poor bug between two claws and down her throat it goes.
SoulReaper tries not to watch the ordeal, as it makes him queasy - but he does thank his friend for being his 'hero', so to speak.
Despite playing an important role within the clan, SoulReaper is often soft-spoken at meetings, placing himself besides Blight; she does more of the talking for him, really. Not many in the clan properly know him, assuming him to be standoffish due to being in the garden most of the time, perhaps wondering if he has some dark past that keeps him mysterious and quiet among his clanmates - but those who do know him? They know better.
SoulReaper is far too awkward to reach out - and thus, he remains quiet, tending to his gardens and talking off the ear of those he trusts, those he feels natural around; he even shares with them his greatest treasure - his hoard.
Often he shares his newest additions with Blight - an infused crystal, a mystifying moonstoon, and his favorite of the new additions - bloodstone, just a small hunk, but still a gorgeous piece. SoulReaper's only willing to show his collection to those he trusts most - and Blight has been one of the very few to see it, and every time she does, she smiles.
