Anastasia sees life in black and white. No, he’s not colorblind; the world is all or nothing. He either puts no effort at all into his projects, or he puts so much time and energy into them that he wears himself out. He tends to lean toward the latter, so this poor dragon is exhausted all of the time. He tries so hard to please others that the “nothing” part of his all or nothing thinking applies to himself. Anastasia has tried caring for himself, though it makes him feel selfish, so he doesn’t do so anymore. There’s no line between self-centered and self-care for this poor fluffy dragon. Lore by @Bibbit Ever since he was a little nestling, Anastasia has always felt a different from the other dragons. They always seemed so.. animated.. swinging wildly between emotions. That was something he just did not understand, he saw everything very differently. The world, much like him, was black and white. Yes or no, cold or warm, good or bad, dark, or light. Every aspect of his life went into this way of thinking. He either cared about things with fierce passion, or let things pass by with with complete disinterest. It causes a lot of complications in his life. His friends either have his full attention, or they can't get him out of his nest. But for this often sulky dragon he has a great love for his friends, and realizing they missed him he threw all of his passion and effort into his friends, which left the nothing part of his mind, to be focused on himself. He feels selfish when he takes time for himself, like he's wasting energy and effort he could be using for his friends. Because of this is color has dulled and his wings are thin. Perhaps one day he will learn to balance this odd aspect of existence called 'living', but for now the mystery to be like the other dragons eludes him. And maybe, that's not so bad, Anastasia thinks the world looks beautiful this way, the simplicity, the contrast... Nothing is hidden this way, nothing out of reach, he just takes a different view of the world then others. Maybe, just maybe, black will one day fuse with white to make grey.
