Lupin hatched from his egg knowing nothing of the world around him, with no parents to ask for guidance. Lost and alone, he joined the closest clan. Unsure of what to do, Lupin began copying different dragons around the clan, to some of their irritation. He continued to do this until one day he began mimicking the tailor. This he showed skill at and when he went to move on they stopped him, convincing him to remain. He continued to learn about fabric, which types were best for different activities and which patterns to use to bind them together. He finally found peace in this simple activity, slowly growing to the point where instead of simply mimicking his mentor he was making his own pieces. To help him grow, his mentor sent him off to travel to different clans, learning new dying techniques as well as stitching patterns.


On one such journey, Lupin met SuaveStrawberry. The dragon was excited to meet him, all but begging Lupin to stay with him. While he was hesitant to agree to leave his clan, Lupin finally agreed. In part, he did so because something about SuaveStrawberry captivated him. The other would give him designs, then freedom to figure out how to put them together. He struggled initially with having such little direction but this was the push he needed to grow.


While he was attracted to his colleague, Lupin kept that hidden for some time, not sure if the feeling was returned. He has a hard time reading emotions on others, making it difficult for him to accurately read the other. One day, though, the other bluntly asked him about his feelings. He was hesitant but truthful, whereupon SuaveStrawberry told him that his feelings were reciprocated. This day was one of the happiest of Lupin's life and he kept the outfit he made at that time for remembrance. It didn't take the two long to move in together.


One of Lupin's favorite activities since joining his new clan has been his new morning ritual. Waking up earlier than his partner, Lupin will make the two of them breakfast every morning. SuaveStrawberry, in turn, keeps the apartment clean from cloth remnants that get stuck on Lupin's scales.
