Tarantella wanted a musical name because she knew the Nocturnes of Moonlit Nyyt Weyr preferred musical (or night) names. She also knew she wanted the name to be alliterative with Trickmurk, as she hatched on the first day of Trickmurk 2020. And it is tricky, too, because it really has nothing to do with spiders of any kind, contrary to popular opinion. The tarantella is a folk-dance from the Southern Italian town of Taranto. And now a pretty Nocturne!
