Fester

History
The former second in command of the Plague Dogs, back when Onyx was still in charge. A force to be reckoned with in his youth, Fester is now a husk of his former self. While flying back to camp, he dropped his pearl in the Wyrmwound. He dove after it, but was unable to recover the item. His packmates had to drag him out of the vile cauldron, and the time he spent in there warped his form to be covered in burns, pustules and teeth. His wings and hind legs got the worst of it, and while he can still walk (albeit a bit wobbly), he can no longer fly.
Fester lost his mind along with his pearl. After this incident, it was decided that he was unfit to lead the pack, and Wretch was chosen as Onyx's new second in command. The pack kept Fester around out of respect, he was the former right-hand-dragon of the pack leader, after all. As he got worse as the days went on, some dragons believed that Fester should die a dignified death instead of living like this. Fester killed and ate those dragons, still possessing his old strength despite his fragile appearance.
Without his pearl, Fester believes that he no longer possesses a soul, and is incapable of dying because of that. He carries a skull in its place.
Nowadays, Fester lays around camp, sleeping most of the time. Since he doesn't hunt anymore, Wretch tasked him with looking after Stitches. Despite his best efforts, the enchanted doll is growing on him. He misses Onyx dearly, and is the only member of the pack who believes that the obelisk is still alive.
