Personality
  • (personality): Militaristic and strict. Has an incredible poker-face. Weakness is a privilege he couldn't afford in the wasteland, and it's hard for him to shed these old habits. It will take him a long time to learn how to live again.
  • (goals): After shedding his old role as the leader of the Plague Dogs and going into hiding, Onyx wants to put his past behind him and move on. He hopes to play a bigger part in his brother's life now that they've found each other again.
  • (past): Formerly the ruthless leader of the Plague Dogs--hunting, killing, pillaging and raiding anywhere that couldn't stand up to his pack. To survive in that kind of life, he needed to be cruel and heartless, not caring about anyone but himself and his pack.
  • (current situation): Onyx is currently living in the Observatory, helping Zen with his experiments in exchange for a place to stay. He's having a hard time adjusting to living in the Tangled Wood, it's so much different from his old home. Every shadow feels like an enemy hiding in plain sight. Every branch creaking feels like a giveaway for an ambush. The gnarled branches block out the sun and obscure any threats from above. He won't let this place get the better of him.

  • Now that he lives outside the wasteland, he's enjoying experiencing what actual food tastes like. Currently, his favorite foods are anything sweet or decadent, as those were things he never had access too in the wasteland.

former leader of the "Plague Dogs," a gang of ruthless raiders who roam the Scarred Wasteland inflicting pain and suffering on any dragons they encounter. onyx saw something he shouldn't have and fled to the tangled wood, trying to put his past behind him and do better now.
