Entry one(14 feb):

I found a black book lying in the Nusery. Mom said it was a journal book. Dragons use it to keep a record of their lives. Dicided to use it. I'll love to read this again one it finish.

Mom complement my look a lot. She said it reminds her of my father. My father died, protecting my mom from a monster right about my hatching. She brang his body back to the clan. Waiting for her was my brother and I.

The clan loves how I look. I'm so pretty they say. If they were any other hatchling around all the males would fall for you they say. There aren't as much hatchlings as usual. The clan didn't have new hatches in ages. We were the first ones.

I can only stay in clan as i'm too young. When i'm old enough i'll be trained to do whatever I like. My mom took care of the hatchling when she was younger. She loved talking to them. When hatches became uncommon she became a gatherer. Now the we are here she can do what she loves again. Not to mention we are her own kids. She finally had kid after so long of taking care of others hatchlings.

Entry two(15 feb):

One of the clan's old spies had a Brilliant Psywurm. I found the little guy again and befrineded it. It shares the same bright colours as me. He remembered the clan's scent which I share so he was quite friendly.

His name is Quirls said one of the elders. A new friend! A very adorable one too. He'll be a great companion for all the future adventures i'll have. My bother can join too if he wanted to. He is the quiet type but i'm sure he'll come around just to be with his sister.

Who wouldn't want to be around me? Definetely not if they are my own brother!

Entry three(17 feb):

I learned many new things today. I helped Quirls find a mate today. It was interesting to see how a non-dragon rituals and things like that. Brilliant Psywurm use their mane to attarct a mate.Quirl now has three little eggs of his own.

The elders say he won't look after them as that the female's job. I really like knowing about other creatures biology. Maybe I can become a biologist one day. The clan's first one. I'm excited to become an apprentice.

When we become apprentices we either choose the primary role of Gathering,hunting or battling(You can choose to learn only one,two or all three) .After learning you can become a full-time gatherer,hunter,warrior or you can have a job inspired by whatever your learnt. Like a battling teacher, Or a healer(studied gathering).

Me and my brother will need to choose what were going to learn soon. I don't really know which is good for animal biology. Maybe I won't even do animal biology, and make the wrong choice . Kind scary to think about.

Entry four(21 feb):

I have learned about the different types of plants during gathering lessons. Attaki is quite wise and a great teacher. We have 2 to 5 teachers depending on what we take. Mine are Attaki(gathering), Turch(hunting) and Shinylight(when the other mentors are busy).

Attaki is the best probably because he is the oldest and has the most experience with life. He teaches with a very different approch. He makes it seem like your a friend who knows as much knowledge has any dragon does rather than someone who is dumb and young.

The other teachers are fine just aren't as good as Attaki. Attaki was born during the late Dawn Of The Clan(when the clan was becoming itself) yet he acts like your the same age has him. When I done good for the day he tells me stories of the past.

Entry five(1st march):

Woodlust is so annoying. He never talks to me or even cares about me. I didn't even do anything wrong. All he thinks of me is that i'm Stupid and ignorent. I heard him mutter something about "I don't know history".

Like seriously? Like i'm the onw with the mentor who tells me the past. He also thought that I didn't know about the Exciled. Obviously I know them I just don't bother to care about them. I think he is being so judmental for know reason at all. And to call him my brother?

Some people can judge so easily. When we were hatchlings I wnated to have all the best of fun together but he always walk off. He never even once wanted to talk to me after our apprenticeship.I don't eve know why our leaders are impressed with him.

Enough about him, I did my mid-Hunter's test yesterday. Our clan made it that an appretice will take four test/assessment. One for the first quarter, Mid-term, Third quarter and then the final. I will get my marks tommorow and am very excited.

Entry six(18th May):

Wow, its been a long time since I've wrote on this thing, hasn't it? I feel like a completely different person now. The main thing is that my dream of being a familiar biologist came true.It was the first "different" job in my clan.

I want to make sure the future hatchlings can be what they want rather than have a set amount of roles you can play. Our alliance clan, Rootclan, had a farm and one of their members came to our clan to help construct one here. One of the younger dragon, Lilue, wanted to be the first farmer here and I tried to support her.

She is currently learning foraging, an essential skill for farming, and if she does good in her exams she probably could continue with her dream. The dragon who came here won't stay here for long afterall.

The last entry I made in this book was me complaining about Woodlust. He later read that and felt bad. I soon found out he was looking at my stuuf and felt outraged. We stopped talking completely for a week. Woodlust later apologised to me and we tried to talk this through.

We currently are talking greatly much and i'm glad that we didin't start a sibling rivarly.
