Definitely takes after his mother's side of the family. While he's much more friendly and companionable than they are, he still has an affinity, and liking, for many of the spooky things in life! He especially loves the nature aspect of those spooky things: graveyard plants, drying herbs, thorny plants (that often get caught in his fur), gnarly and twisted old trees, foggy dark nights that would scare most dragons to the safety of their dens...

His flashy coloring also takes after his mother's ancestry. The striping in an unearthly color has been passed down from her side and accents his main coat pattern and color quite well, and at first glance he just seems to be seen as odd due to his coloration and aesthetic. When you get to know him, however, you start to see he's a bit odd in other ways.

For example...what other dragons do you know who like the smell of rotting vegetation? Who gladly talks to his small garden of lichens and mosses? And let's not even get started on his briar vine "garlands".
Only unexalted dragon with his colors!
