Beatriz

Beatriz has always longed for adventure. From the moment she could walk she was exploring every nook and cranny, searching for hidden treasures or ancient secrets. She knew that as soon as she was able to she would leave the clan and carve out her own destiny but, there was a problem. Her twin brother Chester was always more nervous than she was but, she knew he could be brave and courageous if he really tried! She didn't want him to get lonely (and maybe she didn't know what she would do without her faithful twin) so she invited him along with her! Now the two of them travel together, going wherever their wings decide to take them!

The twins landed at Clan Mavenlark for some time, unsure of why fate had decided to steer their wings to the massive city of travelers. The dergs that occupied Mavenlark weren't the same kind of travelers as Beatriz and her brother, see - they were displaced from their homeclans by war and famine, seeking better fortunes within the city - where free food and housing flowed abundantly. Beatriz felt uneasy, surrounded by so many begging hands and unfortunate tales. She begged her brother quietly to leave, but something told her he didn't feel the same way...

After finally convincing her brother to leave Mavenlark, the pair found themselves in yet another clan of misfits. While Beatriz wasn't one to judge too quickly, she became wary after hearing that many of the dragons in World Vers. 9 had been banished from their old clans or escaped from prisons. Who would want to live with a clan of criminals? Through some pushing from her brother, however, Beatriz found herself befriending quite a few of the dragons in World Vers. 9. She and Iridescent got along rather quickly and soon they were stuck together like peas in a pod. Iridescent often dragged her around the clan's territory to every hidden nook and cranny there was. It was really fun. Perhaps this place isn't so bad after all.

This time Beatriz led the way. She was irritated with the past choices her brother had chosen. She craved adventure, not helping out in some small clan giving out handouts to the poor, and this time, that was what they were going to get.

She landed in a small clearing, near the large river that bordered the Plagued Lands. She looked across the river, into the decaying lands without so much as a sapling or any living shrub and shuddered. Boy she'd gotten them into a pickle. She dipped her claws into the river and splashed her face. When she felt calm again, she looked east and noticed a small encampment, and marched over to it.

Another rag-tag clan. She was going to scream. Nothing was panning out the way she had hoped it would and all of a sudden, she wanted nothing more than to go home. Maybe she wasn't built....

Beatriz couldn't believe she was in yet another rag-tag clan - although the clan strongly objected to her calling it as such. A quick look around revealed to her that maybe this clan wasn't as bad as she thought, and maybe she could handle it for at least a little while. Unexpectedly, she fell in love with another traveller, and after they had hatchlings, decided to travel to their next stop together.
