Due to the naturally friendly nature of most Coatl's and her natural ability to placate even the angriest dragon, Azura was the natural choice for the clan's leading diplomat. Even though she is not called upon often due to the clan's isolated nature, when she is called upon she is always able to strike up a bargain which benefits the clan in some way, she has even steered the clan away from outright disaster on occasion!

When she was young she was often discouraged from singing and making music by her friends and family, due to the natural tone-deafness which Coat's are known for. Despite her friendly disposition, this greatly saddened her, as she always though of music being her true passion in life.

Therefore, when she met her mate Midnight, who shared her dream of being a musician, she felt encouraged to sing louder and more than ever, after all, if he could do it, then why couldn't she! When not working, the two coatls can often be found singing at the top of their lungs in a disturbing melody of screeches, wrong notes and missed notes (Much to the displeasure of everyone in the clan).
