Formerly of the "Dragons Off to See the World" thread, WetCheesedoodle has since found her permanent home the second time she arrived in Crow Callers. She now works part-time at the Travellers' Lodge. Chips, dips, and anything artificially flavored - chances are it's already passed through Wet Cheesedoodle's mouth and immortalized within the pages of her semi-famous foodie publication, "Doodles". She travels Sornieth in search of the next great flavor that pure, unadulterated corn syrup can provide her. She actively refuses to eat vegetables, but fruits are a little easier to convince her of. Blah blah blah. I'm on my way to grab some more sour cream and onion dip from his secret stores, and once I find it I'm gonna eat it right in front of his face. That'll show him. 2/8/2020, @ShatteredOracle: Well, it's happened. I think the last straw was defiantly munching on my favorite foods in front of dad. I've never seen him so angry! He said he loved me so, but that I needed a "reality check" so to speak. To that end, I am now on the road in search of a place to stay for the night. I've heard tales of an Inn, hosted in the Plaguelands. Father thinks he's going to teach me a lesson, but really he's opened up the endless flavor possibilities ahead of me. 3/4/2020, @TricksySixx: Hello Diary! It's been a while since I've written anything down on you, so I've got quite a few things to catch up on! So after that visit to the Plaguelands, I wandered around a bit trying all kinds of tasty foods and eventually wound up in the Tangled Woods, which is where I am now. I made a friend with one of the locals here! His name's Glen and he runs into things a lot, but he's really nice and knows a lot about stars. After hearing my story, he invited me to stay with his Clan for a couple of days and try out the different kinds of meat that their hunting party bring back. It sounds great! 3/20/2020, @hyzenthlaay: Alright, so maybe I do feel a little bad about the terms me and my dad left on. I did try visiting my home clan again today, but I got turned away at the door! Turns out there's some funky magic virus afoot in Mavenlark that they are desperately trying to prevent from spreading. I personally don't see what the big deal is. We're bordering the plague lands anyway! Anyway, boo Mavenlark. I'm going elsewhere. |

The clan I'm staying with now is welcoming enough, but by far, this is one of if not the WORST stops in all of my flavor journey! The dragons here don't even seem to know that junk food exists! Whenever I'm invited to group meals I always ask if they have any chips, even just plain ones, and they all look at me like I'm crazy! I swear, if I didn't have a personal emergency supply I'd never eat here. They don't even have fruits! All the dragons here are either eating raw fish, meat, or bugs! I hate to say goodbye to my new friend Jewel so quick, but if I stay here any longer I think I might go crazy.

I tried the bugs. They are crunchy but really lack in artificial flavoring, they taste as weak as white bread. Maybe it would work better with cheese dip, but these dragons have never heard of cheese, can you imagine? Here I go wanting to discover the flavors of the world, and instead it is I who must bring the world flavors.

Since I ate the fried bugs without too many complaints, Chicago, who had gotten worried about me not eating enough "normal" food, has tried frying almost anything to get me to eat more. Fried fish is nothing new, and after I showed her how to bread it we all had a pretty good meal. We did the same with some mouse meat, but I find that mouse has a very strange after taste. The light's breath leaves actually made an acceptable chips replacement, but the cactus slices melted away to almost nothing. Still, I miss cheese and I'm afraid Chicago might run low on oil soon. I might not stay much longer.

Hey diary! It's been a while! Nothing too interesting has happened so far. I arrived in KiteSong, a pearlcatcher greeted me. I asked the specialty of the clan and I was told 'Kites'. I think a kite is a type of bird, but I doubt it tastes good. I was given an empty den to stay in.

Well it turns out that 'kites' is referring to kites. The paper flying things. Basically this clan doesn't have anything good to eat. My stores are running low! I've spent way too long in this clan. I'm hopefully going to leave soon. Please say that the next clan will have cheese and chips!!!

Stayed a while in the Secret Garden clan, in the outskirts of Nature territory. For an island placed in the middle of the ocean I expected to find more fish instead they had too many vegetables for my tastes. Surprisingly there were a lot of hunters too, so I managed to avoid to eat them. Best thing of all, I found a little dude made of flames wandering around, so I took him in and he helped me make fondue, best one I've ever had. Unfortunately i couldn't keep him, I found out he escaped from the clan treasure keeper's chest and had to be returned. Overall I give the clan a 7 out of 10, the cheese was good but too many vegetables and too much water.
9/11/20 @hyzenthlaay: Okay, admittedly, I could have been nicer to my dad the last time that I visited. I should probably make amends with him. And I really wanted to, I promise! But I stepped into Mavenlark, and I started getting so anxious, and the food merchants were right there, and they were so much easier to focus on than confronting him again...I just couldn't help myself. I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry, dad. I had to leave Mavenlark with my tail tucked between my legs. And a bag of homefried chips, because those are delicious.
9/19/2020, KingVulture: I'm not sure what I expected to find at a clan on the border of the Scarred Wasteland and the Tangled Wood, but what I actually found was much better! Several dragons invited me in and showed me the place I'd be staying. There are lots of food options, including my favorite junk foods!
I decided to meet a few dragons of the clan. One of them was HotDogWater, who introduced me to the food he was named after - hot dogs. It's a very interesting food, but like all foods I eat, I don't like to think about how they're made.
Overjoyed, I decided to stay in the clan for a few days. However, I felt that I had to move on at some point, so I decided to do so after a little while. I considered the possibility of staying in the clan someday, and decided to ask the leaders of the clan on the way out. I hoped to come back, and hopefully I'll find even more wonderful snacks!
9/20/20 Neonsunrise22: These people are nuts! Some spooky village in the middle of nowhere, and they all think the gods are dead! Not only that, but they eat... Healthy. I must introduce them to the glory of cheese doodles! There's this wacky cleric that keeps giving me death glares. She keeps stealing my supply whenever possible and replacing it with salad. Salad! I can't take any more of this healthy junk, I'm out of here!
9/28/20 Neonsunrise22: So... Apparently, I wandered into a not-so-good place and got captured by a big angry dragon. I'm lucky he didn't crush what little bags of chips I had left because he whacked me pretty ard. The crazy cleric and her two hunter parents had to come to save me. Apparently, the mayor has had enough of my antics, and some Nocturne made me feel weird. Now I'm back near the Erebor Clan. Time to head out again.
9/28/20 @Xoxoctic I ended up with some dragons calling themselves Clan Cetltlantli. They're a little strange but accepted my staying with them pretty openly. They didn't have cheese! Well, not that I'm used to, but once I told them about it, they tried. The older dragons didn't seem to like it, but I think the younger one's do. I'll keep trying.
10/15/20 @Xoxoctic I don't know how the time passed so quickly! I didn't even realize I was here for over two weeks! The young dragons of the clan have accepted my cheesy snacks, so I think it's time to finally keep on traveling. It was nice while it lasted.
10/16/2020, KingVulture: It's been nearly a month, but I'm back at Crow Callers - due to how much I enjoyed the clan, I decided to stay. I was given a job at the Travellers' Lodge, and I enjoy it very much! Hopefully Owen doesn't find out that I'm stealing some of his refreshments.
