Notes from Perasil's journal:
  • A rather odd DRONE, carrying a foreign disease on it within the bright orange shards on its shoulders and back
  • Said disease turns any infected dragons into mindless "husks" of their former selves, with orange shards sprouting from the victims' body. They aimlessly wander Sornieth, infecting any unprotected dragons they come across in their paths.
  • Scientists in the Abyssal Laboratory have noticed that occasionally an infected dragon will be drawn into the abyss, heading to PROVENIENCE's hive in the lower levels - presumably to be assimilated.
  • It's been noted that this drone could potentially control the infected dragons like a conscience or GENESIS controls a hive; it's unknown why the drone doesn't (or, I guess more accurately, why PROVENIENCE doesn't control the infected dragons via INFECTION), and instead leaves them haphazardly wandering the world.
