In every respect his mother's son, Copal knew how to get into trouble long before he learned how to get around without tying himself into knots. The plantbois claim that he was the reason for the catastrophic collapse, and of course his parents deny this. Still, even they can deny that he should not have been there in the first place.

As for Copal, he remembers nothing of the incident.
