__Cieras doesn’t just steal light – he causes it to explode. Candles, lanterns and even fires all burst in one final bright flare before vanishing, except for the detritus they spray everywhere. When Cieras realized this happened every time, he became very cautious for fear of hurting others. In times where Cieras has needed to defend themselves or his clan, this ability has been handy. In everyday life, however, he is careful not even to take so much as the glimmer from a candle. Cieras’ body is usually dark and dimly lit due to the lack of light stealing.
