Ash Logs 		Driftwood’s family has a tendency to hear voices, usually in the form of songs ringing through their heads. His are a little different. For as long as he can remember, he has heard echoes from the past of wherever he is. The last few days, most of the time. But by being very quiet and still, he can push further, even into ancient history. He quickly found a role among the clan’s scholars, guiding them to new finds and helping uncover the Aether’s storied history. While a historian at heart, he has picked up a wide and eclectic base of knowledge over the years.

Driftwood is a subdued dragon, and an easy one to overlook. He is always polite, but he rarely starts conversations, and it can be difficult to read his emotions. Those who get to know him will find that he has an unconventional sense of humor and a sincere love for his work. He maintains verbose and extensive documentation of his historical discoveries, and will gladly explain them to anyone who asks. When he isn’t working, he enjoys swapping theories with fellow scholars, and is well-known by hatchlings as a giver of fiendishly difficult puzzles and riddles.
