Akisaja

Not native to the island, Aki was actually born in lightning territory as his parents were traveling across the desert. On a rare clear night he was born, and the first thing he ever saw was starlight. Or so this is what his parents tell to him as to why he has such shimmering eyes and bits of the universe on his back. He finds the story beautiful and holds onto it.

He did not know there were others like him until he met Pyre at one of lightning's ports. It fascinated him, and eventually they came to be traveling companions. When Pyre trusted him enough to be taken to Pyre's home, Aki was thrilled and flattered, willing to follow Pyre anywhere.

Aki is a great dreamer, staying up late to observe the night sky. He studies it some, and takes notes. But he loves it mostly for it's beauty and for inspiration. Aki has a storyteller's tongue that he uses to amuse the residents of the island. He also has taken up to penning his own stories to be added specially to the island's library.

Aki is quiet, contemplative, with a soft laugh and a normally reserved though good natured demeanor. He is an observer, taking in what he sees in order to weave more exciting tales. He becomes most animated when telling these stories by firelight.
