Biography

JARVAN
The Quiet Companion

Clan Role: Forager
Mate: Uriel
Pronouns: he/him
Bio: Jarvan has seen so much. He's survived a lot, and it's given him some scars. Not physical ones, though he was badly injured when he was forced to flee his first clan, but the things he's seen have given him lots of nightmare fuel scenarios that make a lot of situations difficult for him. He doesn't do well with open spaces or fire, and he freezes up entirely if anything larger than a small songbird flies overhead. He doesn't really speak--can't. He stumbles over his words if he tries, so he usually just doesn't. He communicates in other ways, using his paws, or else just lets Uriel speak for him.

Jarvan likes the quiet. But he also doesn't mind noises, as long as they're pleasant. The voices of friends speaking to him, birds singing, the wind in the trees, and especially music are all favorites. Though he doesn't sing, he can play the panpipes, though it's rare he feels comfortable enough to do it in front of anyone who's not Uriel. Ever since recovering from that first attack, he grows flowers in his fur. Because he's so quiet, he tends to be very observant, noticing almost anything around him no matter how subtle. As a result he's very good at helping find more obscure herbs for Arcblast, as well as digging for edible roots, tubers, and mushrooms.

He's at least somewhat curious and interested in other dragons, unlike his perma-grumpy mate, with the exception of banescales. If he ever sees one of them, he'll be thrown into a panic attack. It was a group of banescales that attacked his first clan, after all, bringing down fire from above.
