Uh-oh, looks like this clever boy wandered a little too far from his home lair (Zikul, 12962), and now he's off to see the world! SaharanPetal, or Petty, as his friends called him, was always nose first in the clan's books. By the ripe age of fifty years (not very old for a dragon) he found that he'd read all the interesting tomes already, and wanted to move on.

Leaving behind a most temporary mate - a fling, really - and two hatchlings, Petty set off into the world with hopes of reading some new exciting books - maybe even meet an author, one day!


SaharanPetal had arrived in the territory of a light clan, where he hoped to find an author, as the light flight was said to love old scrolls and books, and even lived in old ruins that contained old texts and maybe some books. However, he was disappointed to see that there were no writers there, and that the clan didn't have too much of a collection of old scrolls. Despite the clan being very friendly, he decided to move on in search of a clan who appreciated books more.
