Aingeal joined (The Clan) upon a calling from The Lightweaver. After the celebration of Walpurgisnacht 2021, Briony had a scry that she forewarned to Erskine. "A messenger cometh on the way, bringing about a change in a day. Cherish them as they will lead, a great paladin in a time of need." It was not until Aingeal had visited Elysian (The Lair) that the oracle came back to Erskine when he spotted them. Ilene was the first to approach them, having been foretold of this by The Lightweaver. He told Erskine that "They will bring much harmony to us." to which Erskine gave a glance to Aingeal before deciding that they could join Hephormet.
Aingeal was grateful about these proceedings. They stated "I will join Pocoise in protecting Elysian." which startled said members, outside Cygnus. Cygnus does not comprehend why a BEING would ask to immediately join in guarding Elysian but she had no major qualms about Aingeal if Ilene could recognize them. Cygnus asked Clodovea to help train them first with the patterns that the Pocoise members followed.
Clodovea gave Aingeal a tour around Elysian and warned them that the land would be expansive. That if they had any questions surrounding the area to ask MAIMOONA as she is one of the few members that voluntarily gives tours around Elysian. Aingeal asked to meet with Maimoona in the future, to learn some of the history surrounding Hephormet. When the two Skydancers interacted, Maimoona was dazzled at Aingeal's sincere demeanor in helping to protect Elysian and bring pacifism in Elysian. She gave Aingeal an extended tour around Elysian and noted how they would stop dispute happening between the dragons when encountered. Maimoona showed Aingeal the gathering area where she would revise some of the quarrels some dragons had amongst each other. Aingeal informed her that they would help her when they could as "There are imminent changes coming to Elysian. Reformation is a must."
During the season of Sunparched Prowl 2021, Aingeal underwent Elysian's training.
When the Clan was given a forewarning that they would have to switch flights after Starfall Celebration that year, Aingeal was more than pleased by these changes. Being introduced to the deacon Lambart Aingeal anticipated the fight that broke out among the clan members of Hephormet. There would be a lot of discourse against this change to switch to Light after all the time that the Arcanist had let them expand the Clan. Some still hold that the Arcanist is who they should serve while some others embraced the change that came with now swearing allegiance to the Lightweaver.
Aingeal tried to settle this dispute as much as she could and some members decided to leave the Clan for good even if some had stayed there for months to years. When the Clan's allegiance to the Lightweaver was tested with a new name change to the Clan being called Effulgence only a select few embraced this change. Aingeal was welcoming of this change especially the change from going to Gejuvaxy (Observatory) to Laternlea Port.
"It was not going to be forever your home. I came in part of the Lightweaver to help you through this change. Now that Adorinda and Erskine have seen the light and the error of their patterns it is time to begin anew." Aingeal spoke with the members of Effulgence.
"Do you plan to be the leader?" Runemarker asked.
"No, I will not take the place of your founders but I will help in settle these disputes that arise with the current changes. All of this was leading up to this change in allegiance to serve the Lightweaver. Let go of the Arcanist and embrace the light. Everything will become clear once you adapt to your new home." Aingeal answered.
